The Prime Minister announces changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service

OTTAWA, April 28, 2017 /CNW/ - The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today announced the following changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service:

Christiane Fox, currently Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet (Communications and Consultations), becomes Deputy Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and Youth, effective June 12, 2017.

David McGovern, currently Deputy National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, becomes Associate Deputy Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, effective May 8, 2017.

Gina Wilson, currently Associate Deputy Minister of Public Safety, becomes Deputy Minister of Status of Women, effective May 23, 2017.

The Prime Minister took the opportunity to congratulate Meena Ballantyne, on the occasion of her retirement from the Public Service, following a distinguished career marked by dedication and excellence in serving Canadians.
