TORONTO, Dec. 19 /CNW/ - The Passion Campaign(TM) is an awareness initiative developed on the belief that the people, small businesses and corporations of Ontario have no limits when it comes to their generosity in supporting the needs of the homeless, less fortunate or working poor in our great cities of Toronto, Markham and York Region, Brantford and Hamilton.
While we are re-launching this awareness campaign during the winter season and holiday period, the main purpose is to raise awareness of the plight of these individuals all year round.
However, it is at this particular time of year that their needs are at their greatest.
The Passion Campaign(TM) has identified thirteen charitable organizations as well as your local food banks, whose primary focus is to help those in need without regard to their creed, religion, colour or any other identifying attributes.
Here is a list of the thirteen charity organizations that will benefit from your support of The Passion Campaign(TM), "Helping feed the homeless and less fortunate every day" (in Alphabetical order) (also Support your Local Food Banks in Toronto, York region, Markham, Hamilton and Brantford): Evangel Hall Mission; Fred Victor Centre; Good Neighbours Club; Good Shepherd Ministries; Mustard Seed Sisters of St Joseph; Sanctuary; the Scott Mission; Second Base Youth Shelter Scarborough; St. John the Compassionate Mission; St. Christopher House; The Salvation Army Corps 614; Toronto Christian Resource Centre; Yonge Street Mission.
The Passion Campaign(TM) is creating awareness by supporting local Food Banks and 13 charitable organizations that are on the frontline feeding the hungry, cold, poor and homeless living on the streets. At www.thepassioncampaign.ca you will be introduced to thirteen grassroots charities, dedicated to helping those most vulnerable and in need.
Also support local food banks at any local Fire Hall.
Visit www.thepassioncampaign.ca today or call 416-618-8776 to make a donation to one of the 13 charities or your local Food Bank that will make a difference.
NOTE: *No Money is collected by the Passion Campaign, it is an Awareness Campaign*
The Passion Campaign(TM) is based on the presumption that all people are equal and deserve to be treated as such, without regard to their socio-economic standing in the community. It is our core belief that the individuals that we propose to support deserve compassion, empathy and understanding, not sympathy.
The Passion Campaign(TM) has been created by Mr. David and Donald (Don) W. Bremner with the support of his group of companies Restoration Environmental Contractors (REC), REC Demolition, REC Disaster and Abcott Construction Ltd.
We would also like to thank the following individuals who have so unselfishly and with open hearts either contributed their time, products, services or support for the good of the campaign; Keith Levit of Keith Levit Photography of Winnepeg, Reverend Andrew Allan of Hamilton, Teresa Rolt of Trolt Creativity by Design, Superior Printing & Litho Inc. and Gary Dumbleton Web Design of Brantford.
Our only desire is that this "awareness initiative" succeeds and provides the support that is so desperately needed during these tough economic times.
We look forward to your support in helping us raise the awareness of the needs of the less fortunate, the homeless, and the poor people of the Greater Toronto Area, Brantford, Hamilton, Markham and York Region.
Together with your help and support, we can all help make a difference.
"On our 20th Anniversary of Restoration Environmental REC Demolition and 37th Anniversary of Abcott Construction Ltd. we would especially like to truly thank all our loyal customers for their support.
