The Members of the Canadian Raelian Movement celebrate Negar Azizmoradi's
liberation

MONTREAL, Dec. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - For the 36th anniversary of the meeting between Rael, the leader of the Raelian Movement, and the representative of the civilization that created life on Earth, the Canadian Raelians will also celebrate the liberation of one of theirs. Indeed, after 10 days of detention in an Istanbul institution, Negar Azizmoradi was finally released last Friday by the Turkish government. Her release came the day after a demonstration was held by hundreds of Raelians in front of the Turkish embassy in Ottawa; massive demonstrations were also held in several other countries throughout the world. Mrs. Azizmoradi, the leader of the Iranian Raelian Movement, was arrested in Turkey on October 25th, after having fled Iran. She risks a death sentence for having declared herself an atheist.

Even though the location where she currently resides is kept secret, since her security could be jeopardized by Iranian commandos, the members of the Canadian Raelian Movement don't want to miss the opportunity to celebrate this first step towards real freedom.

Mr. Marc Rivard, Bishop and president of the Canadian Raelian Movement, stated: "Negar is an extremely courageous woman, in a country where human rights, as well as the freedom of expression and of religion are completely ignored, she chose integrity. Negar is a model for all humans. I am happy that she was able to flee her country and that Turkey decided to free her. I passionately wish that she will find a country that will adopt her and where she will at last enjoy freedom. I hope that Canada will greet her when a request will be sent."

On the theme of sensuality, the celebration will be held in Ottawa (at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (Penthouse), 101 Lyon Street N.) on coming December 13th at 2 pm.

It was on December 13th 1973 that for the first time Rael met an Eloha (the singular of "Elohim", the Hebrew word which was wrongly translated as "God", and which means "Those who came from the sky") who came to explain our origins, that is that all life on Earth is the result of a scientific creation achieved by intelligent beings, living on another planet, and who created us in their image.
