TORONTO, April 2, 2016 /CNW/ - The LOTTO MAX jackpot is rising! The LOTTO MAX draw on Friday, April 8, 2016 will offer an estimated $50 million jackpot plus an estimated 6 MAXMILLIONS prizes of $1 million each.
There was one winning second prize winning ticket, worth $198,149.50, sold in Toronto. There were also three ENCORE tickets, worth $100,000, sold in Ontario for last night's draw; two in Toronto and one in Sarnia.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $3 billion in prizing, including 45 jackpot wins and 311 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.
Players can purchase a ticket for Friday's LOTTO MAX at authorized OLG retailers or buy online at PlayOLG.ca until 10:30 p.m. for the draw that evening.
