"The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Québec is proud to launch its Loterie du Cœur. This project will allow us to give many Québec researchers the support they need to continue their research and to find new ways of fighting cardiovascular disease, which remains the leading cause of death for both men and women in this country," says Mr. Jean Noël, President and CEO of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Québec.
"Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have given 92 million dollars to thousands of researchers over the past 55 years. Research is the cornerstone of any process aimed at improving heart health and we are convinced that Quebecers are well aware of this fact and that many of them will participate in our lottery," adds Mr. Noël.
With half a century of experience in the field of construction and having built more than 35,000 houses in plant, Industries Bonneville is one of the major partners in this project. "We are very pleased to be able to help the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Québec give away one of our houses as a Grand Prize of the Loterie du Cœur. Our "Jordan "model is sure to please the winner, especially since the house can be installed in the location of his choice" states Mr. Dany Bonneville, Co-President of Industries Bonneville.
The Loterie du Cœur is also fortunate enough to benefit from an impressive sales network, through the National Bank's 337 branches. "As a socially responsible institution, National Bank Financial Group supports many health projects, particularly in the fields of prevention and research. Therefore, we are very pleased to partner up with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Québec, a leader in cardiovascular health in Québec, by participating in the Loterie du Cœur," says Mrs. Kathleen Zicat, Senior Vice-President, Sales and Services, Personal Banking for National Bank Financial Group.
The drawing for the Loterie du cœur will take place on Thursday, July 15th, 2010 at the offices of Industries Bonneville located in Beloeil. You may visit loterieducoeur.ca for a virtual tour of the "Jordan" house and to get more information concerning the lottery.
