Entire Day Devoted to "The Great One"
VANCOUVER, Jan. 25 /CNW/ - The greatest hockey player in NHL history is coming to Molson Canadian Hockey House at Concord Place as part of a day long celebration of his career. Friday, February 19th is "Wayne Gretzky Day" at Molson Canadian Hockey House and will feature themed programming, memorabilia, a charitable auction and special appearances that include former teammate Grant Fuhr, and Lanny McDonald.

during the Games," said Wayne Gretzky. "I'm looking forward to sharing
the experience with my fellow Canadians and passionate hockey fans from
around the world."
Programming throughout the day will be entirely Gretzky-themed and will include exclusive video highlights from his career and life. Displayed throughout the venue will be exclusive Wayne Gretzky memorabilia, some of which will be made available for a charitable auction that evening. In addition, several of Wayne's former teammates will be on hand to reminisce and help pay tribute including Grant Fuhr and Lanny McDonald. Acting as MC throughout the day will be Molson Canadian Hockey House's daily host, veteran sportscaster Christine Simpson.
The news follows the recent announcement that FAN ZONE passes are now available for $99 every day, including Wayne Gretzky Day. The FAN ZONE day pass includes all-day admission to Molson Canadian Hockey House until 2:00 am. VIP Lounge Passes are also still available and include also unlimited premium food and beverage. Located on the shores of False Creek in downtown Vancouver, Molson Canadian Hockey House is part of a 65,000 square foot hospitality pavilion at the Concord Place Community Celebration Zone. It will host fans, players, Hockey Canada and International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) delegates during the 2010 Games.
