MONTREAL, July 30, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Following a national competitive solicitation process, Cossette Media has won the bid to become the Government of Canada's Agency of Record (AOR). As part of the new mandate, starting September 1, 2015, Cossette Media will be responsible for advertising media planning and buying for government departments.

A national team will be working on the mandate. They will work closely with the roster of creative agencies and government departments.
The contract is valid until August 31, 2018, with the possibility of two additional one-year option periods.
