The Association des chiropraticiens du Québec awards a $20,000 grant to Mikael Kingsbury!

MONTREAL, Jan. 10, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - On January 4, 2013, the Association des chiropraticiens du Québec was awarding a $20,000 Olympic grant to the FIS World Cup Overall Champion, all disciplines taken together, Mikael Kingsbury. For the occasion, the Vice-President of the Association, Dr. Richard Valade, Chiropractor, along with Executive Director, Sylvie des Ruisseaux, took pride in handing over this sum of money to a young elite athlete who, thanks to that, will be able to spend more time perfecting his sport in preparation to the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sotchi.

Successful on the Slopes
Mikael Kingsbury's career is in full bloom. Starting from his brilliant 2011-2012 season, and with the 2013 Freestyle Skiing World Cup that started last December, he now cumulates 16 consecutive podiums. He was also named Athlete of the Year by the daily newspaper La Presse in December 2012. Since 2011, Mikael Kingsbury has also been a proud ambassador for the Association des chiropraticiens du Québec.

Mikael's Chiropractic Life
Ever since he was a child, Mikael Kingsbury has been a chiropractic patient. The neuromusculoskeletal quality level that provides chiropractic allows Kingsbury to be at the top of his game physically and contributes to the mental preparation of this high performance athlete. The assurance of being in top physical condition, thanks to chiropractics, contributes to the peace of mind and legendary concentration that he shows as he is about to hit the slope. This certainly is what inspires Mikael Kingsbury to say that, if he weren't a champion on the slopes, he would look into a career in chiropractics.

A Winning Partnership
The Association des chiropraticiens du Québec is a proud contributor to the success of Mikael Kingsbury through this $20,000 Olympic grant. As an ambassador for the Association des chiropraticiens du Québec, Kingsbury is the perfect example of the preventive part that plays chiropractics and the significance of spinal health in all aspects of our daily lives. His healthy and balanced lifestyle that integrates chiropractics is truly inspiring for all the young fans that follow his career.
