The 24th Annual Gemini Awards Industry Galas Conclude with Comedy, Drama and
Variety Winners

TORONTO, Oct. 20 /CNW/ - The 24th Annual Gemini Awards Industry Galas concluded tonight at The Sound Academy in Toronto, Ontario with the presentation of awards in the Comedy, Drama, and Variety categories. Hosted by Ennis Esmer (CTV's The Listener) and Zoie Palmer (Global's The Guard), 19 awards were presented; additional winners in these categories were announced earlier this evening. The 24th Annual Gemini Awards will conclude with the Broadcast Gala on Saturday November 14 at the BMO Centre, Stampede Corral in Calgary, Alberta. Hosted by award-winning comedian Ron James, the event will be broadcast on Global and Showcase at 9pm ET/PT.
