Tentative Agreement Reached - All Library Branches Open Today

TORONTO, May 2, 2016 /CNW/ - We are pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached between the Toronto Public Library Board and the Toronto Public Library Workers Union Local 4948.  All library branches are open today and operating with normal hours of service.

The tentative agreement requires ratification by both parties, and a special Library Board meeting will be scheduled.  The Union will also schedule a ratification vote for its members.
