MONTREAL, Sept. 8, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Technopôle Angus cordially invites Montrealers to come out and see what's new at Quartier Angus on September 15 & 16, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. A project office featuring an architectural model, a video, and 3D images will be open to the public to provide the full scoop on this innovative development, which is the only of its kind in Quebec.
The Société de développement Angus team, project promoter, architects and urban planners from Provencher Roy, and landscape architects from NIPPaysage will all be on hand to explain how the future plans for Technopôle Angus will set a new standard for sustainable urban development and help shape the cities of the future.
On September 16 at 6 p.m., the two days of information sessions will culminate in a free public conference featuring serial entrepreneur Alexandre Taillefer discussing his vision for Montreal's future with Investissement Québec board chair Louis Roquet.
Public space inauguration & block party
To mark the debut of this new phase of development, Technopôle Angus is inviting all community members to an official inauguration of the public space on September 16 at 7 p.m. The space is designed to be a gathering spot for local workers and residents. The inauguration will also celebrate the opening of two new restaurants bordering the space, Mamie Clafoutis, an artisanal bakery with a loyal following, and Pizzeria Caldo, which will be offering free slices of Neapolitan pizza and pasta for all. The party will also include treats from Mamie Clafoutis, chocolate tastings hosted by the Chocolate Academy, a DJ, and a multimedia presentation.
