Technologies Harness Scanner delivers HS2000 portable test system to
Rheinmetall Canada
ST-HUBERT, QC, March 31 /CNW Telbec/ - Technologies Harness Scanner (THS) is proud to announce that it has completed delivery of its portable HS2000 test system to Rheinmetall Canada. This first system was implemented into Rheinmetall's harness shop operations as a quality control tool to review manufactured units. The HS2000 system delivered provides flexibility be used within Rheinmetall Canada completion, refurbishing and customer support activities.
According to Rheinmetall, its success not only requires experience and expertise, but the tools, methods, and processes to empower our employees to deliver the capabilities that our customers demand. Rheinmetall's project management process ensures that management disciplines such as quality, logistics support, project control, configuration management, and production are correctly coordinated and integrated, from the beginning of the development cycle to completion. Our team uses the latest software, design, documentation, and logistics tools to speed execution and successfully complete projects.
The HS2000 provides significant advantages over conventional circuit analyzers and portable multi meters available on the market. It permits a single technician to conduct multiples test operations in a few minutes, including circuit analysis, measurements, diagnostic, fault location and documentation of all data and maintenance carried on. The system provides user-friendly operating software and a PC-based operating platform linked to multiple portable wireless units that can be positioned at different vehicles locations. THS provides different options to permit OEM and fleet operators to develop their own maintenance programs effectively. "THS innovative processes will reduce OEM manufacturing costs by 20% and improve delivery turnaround by removing delays relating to electrical issues" said Alain Lussier, President of Technologies Harness Scanner. "THS solutions will also improve OPERATORS overall fleet reliability by 10% considering that electrical issues represent 25%-40% of unscheduled maintenance, and reduce by 60% their maintenance costs relating to electrical troubleshooting".
