MONTREAL, Oct. 28 /CNW Telbec/ - Sono3(TM), the innovative hearing aid based on patented instant custom fit technology from Sonomax Hearing Healthcare Inc. (SHH:TSX VENTURE) appears to have found the perfect partner in the revolutionary Neuro-Compensator(R) software technology that has been developed by Vitasound Audio Inc.
An electronics module containing groundbreaking component technology is inserted into Sonomax's instant custom earpiece; this completes a hearing aid that boasts quality and comfort at a very affordable price point. This easy-to-get hearing aid will make VitaSound's groundbreaking hearing software available to a much larger consumer audience.
"We have seen a remarkable consumer response to the Neuro-Compensator since it was introduced in early September," commented Gora Ganguli, CEO of VitaSound. "A range of products was launched and we have been amazed at how many people are choosing the Sono3 version."
Nick Laperle, CEO of Sonomax, stated, "We have always held the belief that the Sono3 could be a game-changer in the hearing aid space. It may well be that we have now hit the right combination of technology and affordability with VitaSound."
The product is already available at numerous hearing aid dealers throughout Ontario, and will be introduced to the rest of Canada at the Canadian Academy of Audiology conference in Toronto later this week. The United States launch will take place in mid-November, initially through The Hearing Centers in the 100+ store Kerr Drug chain of community pharmacies.
