EDMONTON, Oct. 26 /CNW/ - Solid Resources Ltd. ("Solid" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Rick Gliege to the Board of directors. Mr. Gliege has over 18 years experience as a senior manager in the public and private sectors. As a provincial manager with the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, Mr. Gliege was instrumental in the design, implementation and management of two new divisions, Dispute Resolution and Road Improvement Strategies. Mr. Gliege, a graduate from the University of Victoria and a certified commercial mediator, was the President of Poly-Pacific International's wholly owned subsidiary, Poly-Pacific Technologies in California. Mr. Gliege brings solid work experience in areas of strategic planning, marketing and development, operations and the raising of capital though his international connections.
Concurrent with Mr. Gliege's appointment, the Company has granted to him an aggregate of 250,000 options to purchase common shares of the Company. The options expire at the end of five years and the exercise price is $.10 per share.
This appointment is subject to the approval of the appropriate regulatory authorities.
