Second Annual Curel(R) Snow Angels Campaign Challenges Canadians to Spread
Their Wings for Kids in Crisis

TORONTO, Dec. 1 /CNW/ - Starting today, the much loved winter ritual of making angels in the snow has a charitable twist. The makers of Curel(R) moisturizers are issuing a challenge for the second year in a row to Canadians: to photograph yourself making a snow angel and upload it to www.curel.ca. For every photo uploaded, Curel will donate one dollar to Starlight Children's Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities.

"The Curel Snow Angels campaign is designed to inspire individuals and families to make snow angels together in support of children in need," said Heather Carney, senior brand manager for Curel. "By uploading snow angel photos to www.curel.ca, Canadians will help fund Starlight Children's Foundation's important work with children with illnesses and their families."

The Curel Snow Angels campaign runs from December 1st until March 31st. In addition to the online photo component, the program also includes a one dollar donation for every bottle of Curel moisturizer purchased throughout the campaign. By encouraging Canadians to participate in the program, Curel hopes to donate $25,000. Curel and the Starlight Children's Foundation share a common goal of comforting and maintaining the well-being of Canadians. While Starlight provides emotional comfort and support, Curel is focused on the physical health of our skin: with every drop, your skin receives the moisture it needs for 24-hours of comfort.

For 20 years, Starlight Children's Foundation has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for seriously ill & hospitalized children and their families through an array of in-hospital and community based programs. Starlight programming reaches families in every part of the country and has Canadian offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver & Calgary. Collectively, Starlight's programs benefit more than 200,000 Canadian children each year.
