EDMONTON, Sept. 22 /CNW/ - The Sawridge Group of Companies announced today that the renovation of the atrium at the Sawridge Inn Edmonton South is complete. The main level of the property has been completely transformed to include Creations dining room & lounge and Creations art gallery.
The cuisine is eclectic regional fusion and is available in sharing, petite and entrée portions enticing our guests to explore the many creative choices available. Our clients will receive warm and attentive service and experience culinary creations that will entice them to return again and again.
"Our goal was to create a space that reflects the Sawridge heritage in a warm, welcoming and natural environment." said John MacNutt, CEO of the Sawridge Group of Companies. "What evolved was an awe inspiring creation of stone, natural woods, water and fire elements. Guests will now indulge their senses at Edmonton's newest and most extraordinary showcase of creative cuisine."
The remarkable décor includes eight-foot hoodoos, an enormous dream catcher, a 12-foot long fireplace and a 17-foot long water wall. The menu introduces customers to exciting culinary creations featuring fresh ingredients and a carefully selected array of wines. If guests are not dining with us they are encouraged to meet with friends and enjoy a beverage in the comfortable elegance of Creations lounge. Creations offers 166 dining and lounge seats, including a private dining room for up to ten guests.
The Creations art gallery promises to feed one's soul. New works are presented throughout the year, keeping our showcase fresh and compelling. Separated from Creations lounge by a captivating water feature, the art gallery is a unique venue for events of up to 75 people. When not reserved for special events it is an ideal place for our guests to simply relax and discover the richness of Canadian fine art by established and up and coming artists.
General Manager Colin McBeath adds, "Creations is not a hotel dining room and lounge; it is a dining room and lounge that happens to be located in a great hotel. Our menus focus on fresh, quality ingredients with dishes created exclusively for our dining room. Our culinary and service teams are some of the best in the industry."
This stunning restaurant is located in the newly renovated atrium of the Sawridge Inn Edmonton South, 4235 Gateway Blvd, Edmonton, AB, T6J 5H2, (780) 989-4439.
