"We would like to thank all the companies and individuals who bought and sold equipment and trucks with us in 2015—we value your trust in us to deliver results regardless of market conditions," said Brian Glenn, Ritchie Bros.' Senior Vice President (Western Canada). "This year we sold more equipment at our Edmonton site than ever before. When you're selling equipment in uncertain local conditions such as these, it becomes even more important to reach buyers from different industry sectors and regions. That's why sellers turned to Ritchie Bros.—and we delivered. We had record-high bidder turnout in Edmonton all year long, with more than 59,000 total bidder registrations—40 percent higher than 2014. Our ability to attract the largest crowds in the equipment auction business helped us achieve strong returns for sellers in 2015."
