MONTREAL, Oct. 23 /CNW Telbec/ - Vision Montréal leader and mayoral candidate, Louise Harel, requests a public inquiry to identify the actions necessary to end the actual system of collusion around municipal contracts.
"Quebec's Premier must respond without delay to the large consensus, in Quebec and in Montréal, on the necessity to hold a public inquiry. Police inquiries will most certainly clarify the past, but only a public inquiry will guarantee the future by identifying the actions necessary to dismantle the collusion system that surrounds municipal contracts", has declared Louise Harel.
"We are going through dark hours, not only for Montréal but for all our democratic system. The gravity of the situation is such that it commands to get above partisan interests. I am therefore making an urgent call to all Montrealers, so that they do not surrender to cynicism and that they vote on November 1 st ", has pursued the mayoral candidate.
"Now is a time to be courageous. I am determined to clean things up, and I shall not be afraid to do whatever it takes so that Montréal can become again the great city that it is, for Montrealers, and for all of Quebec", has concluded Louise Harel.
