MONTREAL, Sept. 23, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Gaz Métro and Cossette have just launched a campaign—their first since joining forces last year—entitled Ready for next? This multi-platform campaign is intended to strike a chord with Quebecers on the issues of energy and the environment by demonstrating Gaz Métro's commitment to cleaner energy. In order to mount it, Gaz Métro and Cossette worked together to review the brand's positioning and the creative platform, as well as its development and production over the past year.
"Gaz Métro is a leader in the energy sector, and our vision goes beyond natural gas. We want to be known as a company that develops multiple energy options to accelerate the emergence of sustainable solutions in Quebec. Our employees build on this vision daily, and we believe they are the best possible ambassadors for this campaign," said Valérie Sapin, Marketing Director at Gaz Métro.
It was with this in mind that Cossette decided to involve actual Gaz Métro employees in the campaign, asking them "Are you ready for next?" during videotaped discussions. What's "next" is sustainable energy sources that don't contribute to the problem of greenhouse gases and therefore global warming. Renewable energies, responsible consumption and less dependence on oil—these and other solutions were examined. Participants defended their points of view, giving rise to the campaign's key messages that appear in the TV spots, web ads and print ads.

Cossette created TV spots and web ads in both English and French, as well as web banners, digital signage, print ads and eye-catching ad placements, including some on the sides of Montreal metro cars.
