RateSupermarket.ca launches its latest initiative, the "Burn Your Mortgage" project, inspiring Canadian home buyers to find the best mortgage rates and effectively pay off their mortgage.
TORONTO, March 1, 2017 /CNW/ - In preparation for spring home buying season, RateSupermarket.ca is launching its "Burn Your Mortgage" project on March 1st, 2017 to assist first-time home buyers as well as homeowners renewing their mortgage in the process of finding the best rate and paying down their mortgage sooner.
RateSupermarket.ca is the leading comparison service for mortgage products in Canada, allowing consumers to compare from over 30 lenders. But the comprehensive comparison site wants to provide consumers with more than just the lowest rates for mortgages; it aims to educate consumers on how to pay off their mortgage at their earliest convenience.
"A home is one of the biggest investments some people make in their lifetime, and achieving financial freedom is a dream for many," says Janine White, Vice President, RateSupermarket.ca. "RateSupermarket.ca helps consumers by providing them with a variety of mortgage products, resources and other tools. We give our customers the knowledge and power to confidently pay off their mortgage and take control of their finances."
In line with the project, RateSupermarket.ca partnered with personal finance journalist, money coach, and author of Burn Your Mortgage, Sean Cooper. The recently released book documents the author's journey in paying off the mortgage for his first home in a mere three years, and provides financial advice for those looking to fast-track their mortgage as well.
"To some first-time home buyers, the dream of homeownership seems out of reach," says Cooper. "Burn Your Mortgage, however, proves that this dream is still alive and well by providing simple, practical advice to pay off your home. And by partnering with RateSupermarket.ca's mortgage comparison service, more people will come to understand this, put their dreams into action, and enjoy financial freedom years sooner than expected."
Throughout the duration of the initiative, customers who compare mortgage products and rates through RateSupermarket.ca will also receive a "Burn Your Mortgage" guide, featuring Sean Cooper's top five tips to pay off your mortgage quickly and efficiently. The site will also be giving away a free copy of Sean Cooper's book, Burn Your Mortgage, everyday throughout the month of March via Facebook and Twitter.
The Burn Your Mortgage project is scheduled to run until June 30th, 2017.
