Fourth Report to Canadians on Canada's Economic Action Plan
MONTREAL, Dec. 2 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to attend the Business breakfast conference of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal on Thursday, December 2, 2009, at 7:30 a.m. The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of Public Works and Government Services, and Minister responsible for Quebec and the Greater Montréal region, will be our guest speaker.
Canada is going through the deepest global recession since the Second World War. There are some early and tentative sings that economic growth is resuming; however, many Canadian communities, businesses and workers continue to be seriously affected by the downturn. Minister Paradis will discuss the fourth Report to Canadians on Canada's Economic Action Plan and the ongoing economic situation in Canada.
The speech will be delivered mainly in French.
