MONTREAL, March 16, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - The campaigns Without Yes, It's No! and Ni viande Ni objet, in collaboration with ASEQ | Studentcare, invite media representatives to attend the launch of the national initiative "Order an Angelot" next Sunday at 11 am at Resto-Bar La Maisonnée, in Cote-des-Neiges. Hélène David, the Minister responsible for Higher Education, will also be present at the launch.
The name "Angelot" literally means "little angel", and the term can be used in both English and French ("Commande un Angelot"). Along the same lines as the Angel Shots (United States) and Ask for Angela (United Kingdom) campaigns, the "Order an Angelot" initiative aims to prevent sexual violence in the student bar environment and protect potential victims. The project partners will present to the media the tools for action and prevention that they will deploy during the upcoming months in the majority of the bars frequented by Quebec's student community.
