HONE YOUR DRIVING SKILLS WITH MICHELIN AND
PROFESSIONAL RACE CAR DRIVER CARL NADEAU

TORONTO, March 31, 2015 /CNW/ - With spring officially here, Carl Nadeau, Michelin driving expert and professional race car driver, will be in Toronto on April 14 to help media sharpen their driving techniques in various spring and summer conditions, which often means wet and slick pavement.

On a course specially designed by Nadeau, media will receive a behind-the-wheel experience to learn essential manoeuvers and driving tips, from basic skills, to the importance of matching tires to seasons and driver needs, to accident avoidance and how to react in an emergency situation, including the loss of control of your car.

Michelin experts will provide tire safety measures and maintenance tips, including information about tire pressure and usage, as well as practical advice to extend the life of your tires and how to safely change them and be in a position to survive a tire puncture.

During the event, you will be driving on both dry and wet surfaces in identical vehicles equipped with a variety of tires, including the new MICHELIN® Premier™ LTX.  You will also get the opportunity to test the Premier LTX in a worn state, compare it against one of its leading competitor as well as experience the dramatic difference between winter and non-winter tires in moderate temperatures.
