MONTREAL, Oct. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Despite an especially difficult year for Canadian business, the president and chief executive officer of the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), Jean-René Halde, reports he's seeing many entrepreneurs among BDC's clients whose vision, willingness to take risk and ability to make tough decisions are helping keep Canada's economy strong and resilient.
In advance of Small Business Week (October, 18-24), M. Halde will speak to the members and guests of the Canadian Club of Ottawa about what these businesses are doing to turn a recession crisis into opportunity in a changing global marketplace.
