/R E P E A T -- Invitation to Media - News Conference - Victorious and Historic Supreme Court Ruling Against Rio Tinto for Two Québec Innu First Nations and for British Columbia's Saik'uz and Stellat'en First Nations/

OTTAWA, Dec. 8, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Québec Innu Chiefs Mike McKenzie and Réal McKenzie, of Uashat mak Mani-utenam and Matimekush-Lac John First Nations respectively, and Chiefs Stanley Thomas and Archie Patrick of the Saik'uz and Stellat'en First Nations in British Columbia, cordially invite media representatives to a news conference in the wake of a joint victory in the Supreme Court of Canada against mining company Rio Tinto. Aboriginal communities are uniting their voices at this news conference, to be held Tuesday, December 9, during the Assembly of First Nations meetings in Gatineau, to inform the public of the historic nature of this Supreme Court ruling.
