LONGUEUIL, QC, Oct. 8 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated wishes to inform the public about the closure of two of three lanes on the Champlain Bridge heading to Montreal during the night of October 10 to 11 from 10 p.m. until 8 a.m.
No closures are expected this Saturday and Sunday (October 10 and 11) towards the South Shore. Work will start again on Monday, October 12, and will necessitate the closing of two out of three southbound lanes (toward the South shore). A first lane will be closed at 9:30 p.m. and a second one at 10 p.m. In both cases, the lanes will be reopened to traffic at 5:00 a.m.
Please note that these closures are scheduled to end mid-October and that the roadwork heading to Montreal should begin thereafter.
