QUÉBEC CITY, Dec. 15, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The VIP Lounge at the Québec City Jean-Lesage International Airport (YQB) was ranked the top VIP lounge in North America, all categories combined, by members of the 2015 Priority Pass program. The award goes to the lounge that meets the highest standards in passenger experience. This year, more than 100,000 votes were cast to choose the winners of the 11th Priority Pass Lounge of the Year Awards.
"Once again, our airport has shown that it provides a passenger experience second to none. Thanks to our team work, we have the exceptional honor of being recognized as having the best VIP lounges in North America. The Passenger First® concept is our top priority and this recognition confirms that the measures we've put in place to fulfill our commitment to excellence in the area of passenger experience have borne fruit," said Gaëtan Gagné, President and CEO of Aéroport de Québec inc. (AQi)
"This award is one of a number of distinctions the airport has received, including being ranked as the Best Airport in North America in its category three times running in 2010, 2011, and 2013 by Airports Council International as part of its Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program," Mr. Gagné concluded.
The VIP lounge at the Québec City airport is open free-of-charge to Priority Pass members, as well as members of airline loyalty programs and holders of certain credit cards. Others may enjoy the VIP lounge for $35 per person.
