TORONTO, Sept. 15 /CNW/ - Hydro One confirmed today there will be a
planned power interruption Sunday, September 19, 2010 as the Company
undertakes work to improve service and power reliability in the Kingston
area. The planned power outage will allow for the installation of new
switching equipment and other upgrades, and also permit concurrent
upgrade work to take place in Hydro One's Butternut Power Distribution
Station and the Frontenac Transmission Station.
The power outage has been scheduled from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday to
minimize the impact on local homes and businesses.

fast-growing community," said Clark Masterson, Hydro One Eastern
District Superintendent. "We appreciate our customers' patience as we
undertake this important work for our customers in the Kingston area."
Approximately 4,600 Hydro One customers will be without power while
crews complete the repairs and upgrades. The affected areas include

from Aragon Road to Mount Chesney; Unity Road from Montreal Street to
Glenburnie; Highway 2 East from Barriefield to St Lawrence Avenue; as
