Personal training company donates 5% of April sales to the Canadian Cancer Society

TORONTO, April 2, 2014 /CNW/ - In support of the Canadian Cancer Society's daffodil month, Nielsen Fitness, a Toronto-based in-home personal training company, will donate 5% of its sales to Cancer research.

Poul Nielsen, President of Nielsen Fitness says: "We feel strongly about giving back and are honoured to do our part for the Canadian Cancer society this month," he said. "Cancer is such an important cause, and has touched all of us. Furthermore, there's a real link between exercise and cancer-prevention so the fit was natural."

Nielsen hopes that, in addition to raising funds, this initiative will help get the conversation going about cancer prevention through exercise, and inspire people to take action.

Nielsen will be posting updates on the campaign throughout April on the Nielsen Fitness website and Facebook page.
