TORONTO, Oct. 28 /CNW/ - As the holiday season approaches, Park'N Fly is supporting Daily Bread Food Bank in an effort to help stamp out hunger and poverty and in the hopes that fewer families will go hungry this fall season.
Between November 2nd and December 21st, consumers will be invited to drop off a non-perishable food item at the Toronto Park'N Fly Valet location. In exchange for their donation, Consumers will be rewarded with one free parking day, with no limitation or restrictions. -Stay only for one day, & the parking is free - no strings attached!
In addition consumers can make a cash donation during this period and still receive the FREE DAY at Park'N Fly Valet by simply bringing the electronic donation receipt. Plus, to further support Daily Bread, Park'N Fly will match every dollar donated, - up to $5,000 during this period. Donations are needed more than ever. There were over one million client visits to food banks across the GTA last year. Daily Bread's member agencies saw a 16% increase in client visits from May to July of this year, a reflection of the effects of the recession still being felt by families across the city.
Offering FREE DAYS in exchange for the donation is Park'N Fly's way of rewarding consumers for giving back. Together, lending a helping hand to families across the GTA that are in need will get us closer to one day of stamping out hunger and poverty in our communities.
