Ontario's Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger Network Continues to Grow, with Sun Country Highway Chargers Being Installed Along Ontario's West Coast - stretching from London to Owen Sound!

Sun Country Highway expands its publicly accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging network along Highway 21 and Highway 4, adding up to 15 more EV chargers, including 7 municipalities that will be installing EV Chargers in their communities.

LONDON, ON, July 29, 2013 /CNW/ - As part of Sun Country Highway's (SCH) mission to Green Canada's Highways, SCH, in collaboration with 11 progressive organizations and local governments, will be launching Sun Country Highway EV charging infrastructure throughout the western side of Ontario from London to Owen Sound - This will make Ontario's West Coast one of the most EV-friendly regions in Ontario, helping to boost local eco-tourism and promote emission free travel across the Province.

All Sun Country Highway charging stations offer free charging, the electricity is provided by the host of the location. It costs as little as a stamp and an envelope to recharge the average vehicle on the road today!

"The addition of these EV Chargers to the region showcases a commitment to environmental, social and economic sustainability for these regions - this is a huge step forward to promote electric vehicles and to drive eco-tourism - these businesses and municipal governments are leading by example and will go far to prove the adage "If you build it, they will come" - Christopher Misch, Vice President Sun Country Highway
