OTTAWA, Feb. 3 /CNW Telbec/ - Today, The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) announced the launch of its innovative social media campaign, featuring their new Blog and Twitter account.
"We are so excited to dive into the dynamic world of social media," stated IBAO CEO Randy Carroll. "This initiative will allow the association to reach out on a whole new level to our membership, consumer community and the media."
IBAO's overall goal with the campaign is to further develop and empower their community of brokers, to better educate consumers and media on insurance related issues and coverage tips, and to keep stakeholders informed of upcoming initiatives, press releases and community events.
"The world of communication is ever-changing. IBAO is proud of our efforts in staying on top of the latest tools to better inform the public while staying connected with our members," added Carroll.
The campaign will also further develop as the year progresses, with new forms of social media strategies being introduced as it continues to move forward.
