TORONTO, June 26 /CNW/ - Ontario will share in 17 winning MAXMILLIONS prizes, plus thousands more secondary prizes after last night's record LOTTO MAX draw. Two winning tickets, one from Western Canada and another from the Atlantic region, will share the LOTTO MAX $50 million jackpot.
The winning Ontario MAXMILLIONS tickets were sold across the province, in areas including the GTA, Hamilton, Windsor, Brantford, Peterborough, Lindsay, Barrie, and Midland. 10 of those 17 Ontario tickets each won $1 Million, while the other 7 hold partial shares of a million dollar top prize. Please check your tickets at www.OLG.ca, at an OLG self-ticket checker in stores, or with your nearest retailer to see if you are a lucky winner.
"We're happy that LOTTO MAX has again made more people millionaires in Ontario. Next week's jackpot will be $30 million and we look forward to start building to MAXMILLIONS again. This feature is what makes LOTTO MAX so exciting for our players," said Wendy Montgomery, OLG's Vice-President, Lottery Marketing.
MAXMILLIONS are additional $1 million draws added to the game when the LOTTO MAX jackpot reaches $50 million. MAXMILLIONS prizes are drawn separately from the LOTTO MAX jackpot draw, which means that a LOTTO MAX ticket not only gives players a chance at the jackpot but also the chance to win any of the $1 million MAXMILLIONS draws on the same date.
