Ombudsperson to speak on seniors' care

VANCOUVER, May 13 /CNW/ - Provincial Ombudsperson, Kim Carter, will speak at the BC Health Coalition's Seniors' Forum on Friday, May 14th, 1:00-1:45PM.

The Ombudsperson will be speaking about her office's ongoing investigation into the state of seniors' care in BC. The first report in this investigation, "The Best of Care: Getting it Right for Seniors in British Columbia (Part 1)," was released in December 2009.

BC Health Coalition spokespeople will also be available to comment on seniors' care in BC.

The BC Health Coalition is a broad-based network of organizations and individuals who represent the public's interest in ensuring our health care system works for the well-being of all British Columbians.
