OEB issues Rate Adjustment for Union Gas Limited

TORONTO, Sept. 14 /CNW/ - Today the Ontario Energy Board approved changes to natural gas commodity and delivery rates charged by Union Gas Limited (Union) effective October 1, 2009. The new rates reflect two Board decisions: the Board's August 6, 2009 Decision approving Union's 2008 Deferral Accounts Disposition and the Quarterly Rate Adjustment Mechanism (QRAM).

The QRAM rates for the period October 1st to December 31st are as follows:

Consumers who purchase their natural gas from a natural gas marketer (direct purchase customers) will see a decrease between $0 and $5 to their annual bill.
