Granola and oatmeal now available in Metro supermarkets
MONTREAL, June 13, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - Oatbox, the Quebec startup that makes breakfast products and delivers them straight to subscribers' homes each month, is pleased to announce a new way to get four flavours of its granola and oatmeal products with its arrival in grocery stores across Quebec, exclusively at Metro. Over the past four years, Oatbox has seen major growth across the country and is now seeking to reach even more people.
Having shipped more than 300,000 boxes since the company's founding in November 2014, Oatbox has established itself as an innovative breakfast brand with its healthy and delicious high-quality products. "We are proud to start this new chapter for Oatbox," says Marc-Antoine Bovet, Co-Founder and CEO, "as we have only sold our products via our website until now. This breakthrough, which covers all of Quebec, will help us achieve our ambition: to become Quebec's premium breakfast brand."
"Stocking the products of this innovative and dynamic young company on our shelves will enable us to perfectly meet the needs of consumers who are aware of the latest trends and who prioritize healthy, quality products," says Serge Boulanger, Senior Vice President, National Procurement and Corporate Brands at Metro. "We are constantly on the lookout for local suppliers that stand out for the originality of their products or their production methods and want to grow with us. Oatbox absolutely fits the bill."
Non-GMO products made from whole grains and organic Canadian oats
Oatbox granola and oatmeal is not only certified organic, but also made primarily using Canadian ingredients. The oats that form the base of these products come from Canada, as do the fruits they contain.
The products are also made from non-GMO whole grains. In keeping with Canada's new Food Guide recommendation to eat whole grain foods, Oatbox products are the ideal way to incorporate grains into your diet.
Oatbox products sold in-store exclusively at Quebec Metro supermarkets will include four flavours of granola and four flavours of oatmeal, in 300 g family-size packs. Oatbox home delivery subscribers will continue to enjoy the benefits of this service, such as exclusive flavours each month, larger sizes and a wide range of online-only products, including cereal bars, coffee and tea.
