LA MOTTE, QC, Feb. 28, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - A pressroom will be made
available to press personnel present in La Motte during the 2013 Papal
Cardinal Marc Ouellet, who is considered as a leading contender to
succeed Pope Benedict XVI, was born in La Motte, a small municipality
in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region of Quebec (Canada).
The pressroom will be set up in the Pionniers room of the La Motte Community Center (90, chemin des Berges - basement
of the former church). Public relations officers will welcome the
journalists as soon as Conclave begins. The journalists will be
provided accreditation to facilitate their access to municipal
premises. The pressroom will be equipped with TV sets broadcasting live
images from the Vatican and basic Internet access [not fully reliable
for transfer of images or live web-broadcasting). A catering service
will also be available.
Media representatives are advised to contact Anne-Marie Belzile to
receive accreditation and communicate their specific needs
(accommodation, transportation, contacts, technical support, etc.). As
a result, they will be well equipped to cover the event as soon as they
arrive in La Motte.
The municipal authorities will make themselves available to respond
questions from the press everyday during the Conclave at a set time and
for a predetermined period.
A press conference will be held as soon as the decision on the new pope
