NOMINATION - CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING
MONTREAL, Sept. 16 /CNW Telbec/ - L'Oréal Canada became the first subsidiary of the Group to create the position of CMO. The positive experience that we encountered justifies the interest of such a position. However, the task is far from being completed and new challenges and opportunities have to be met without delay.
With the recent departure of Mrs. Sandrine Michard, we needed to provide for the strategic responsibilities of corporate communications. It is the perfect time to seize the opportunity to join these two complimentary responsibilities that are in the context of the 21st century. Subsequently, we have created the position of Chief Marketing & Communication Officer.
The responsibilities will be defined to create a pole of knowledge, activities, development and expertise around five (5) major working axes:
- Corporate communications;
- Coordinating and animating PR activities for different brands and divisions;
- Coordinating, animating, sharing and communicating marketing activities for brands and divisions;
- Knowledge and studies (Department of studies and customer care);
- Animating and sharing digital activities of the company (Web/new technologies, new social media, interactive marketing, e-commerce, APPS …).
To take charge of these responsibilities, it is with great pleasure that we announce the nomination of Mrs. Marie-Josée Lamothe as Vice President Chief Marketing & Communication Officer. She will be reporting directly to Mr. Javier San Juan, President & CEO of L'Oréal Canada.
A 20 year veteran of the competitive world of beauty and luxury marketing, Marie-Josée Lamothe is best noted for her expertise in Consumer Goods Branding.
