Nexen Tire also sits atop the rankings in the 2016 Tire Championship standings after one event of the 2016 Formula DRIFT Pro Championship season.
Recently, Nexen Tire has become an Official Major Partner of Formula Drift, the premier United States drifting series, for the 2016 and 2017 race seasons. The company has also entered into partnerships with two drivers from Scion Racing (SR) by Toyota including Fredric Aasbo, the 2015 Formula Drift World Champion, and Ken Gushi, the 2015 Formula Drift runner-up.
