TERREBONNE, QC, April 9, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - ADF GROUP INC. ("ADF" or the "Corporation") (TSX: DRX) leader in the fabrication of steel superstructures, announces today having concluded a series of commercial agreements with existing and new clients, totalling in excess of $46 million.
All these new orders were awarded in the U.S. East Coast, and are part of different new construction projects for commercial and industrial buildings, and a transport infrastructure project. The new contracts won by ADF mostly involve fabrication work, encompassing the shop drawings and the supply of material (steel), and the installation of various steel structures, including heavy steel built-up components.
Mr. Jean Paschini, Co-Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, points out that, "the award of these new orders falls in line with our growth strategy and attests to our active approach to renew our backlog".
The work on these new contracts, which together provide about 100,000 additional fabrication labour hours for ADF's fabrication plant in Terrebonne, is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks and will extend until the spring of 2016.
In line with the increase in the level of activity at its Terrebonne fabrication plant, the Corporation also announces today the launch of a recruitment process, mainly for welders and fitters positions.
