Network Media Group Announces 2021 Second Quarter Results
VANCOUVER, BC, July 27, 2021 /CNW/ - Network Media Group Inc. (TSXV: NTE) (OTCMKTS: NMGGF) ("Network" or "the Company") today reported financial results for the second quarter ended May 31, 2021 ("Q2 2021"), including three month revenues of $1,233,429 (2020 - $2,722,345), net loss of $620,917 (2020 – net income of $664,956) and Adjusted EBITDA of negative $568,492 (2020 – positive $992,658), and a backlog of $15.6M. Network CFO Darren Battersby stated: "Network completed one feature-length documentary in the quarter, expanding its library of I Am documentaries to a total of 14 films. While COVID-19 restrictions have adversely impacted the entire entertainment industry, Network has resumed filming and we look forward to increased production activities throughout the remainder of the fiscal year."
Highlights for Network's three months ended Q2 2021 include the following:
- Steady Backlog. Contracted future revenues of $15.6M;
- Delivery of One Feature I Am Documentary. Network delivered I Am Alfred Hitchcock in the quarter;
- Signed with ICM Partners. Network has signed with ICM Partners, one of the world's leading talent agencies, for global representation.
The financial results for Network's six months ended Q2 2021 include the following:
- Revenues of $1,594,639 (2020 - $6,944,333);
- Net loss of $1,173,738 - $0.02 per share (2020: Net income of $963,263 - $0.01 per share);
- Adjusted EBITDA of negative $1,086,953 - $0.01 per share (2020: positive $1,612,449 - $0.02 per share).
Network also continued pre-production and production on:
- Three feature-length documentaries, and;
- Three television series.
