Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada announces new Board Chair for 2019 - 2021 term
TORONTO, May 21, 2019 /CNW/ - The Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada (Neighbourhood Pharmacies) is pleased to announce Karl Frank, Divisional Director of Bayshore Specialty Rx, as Chair of the Association for a two-year term.
"Neighbourhood Pharmacies is dedicated to positioning the pharmacy industry as a solution provider within the health system, which is why I'm pleased to accept this position and build relationships with the Association's staff and members," said Mr. Frank. "As I enter this role, I look forward to assisting Neighbourhood Pharmacies in delivering accessible and high-quality professional patient care services for Canadians and exploring opportunities for pharmacy to play a larger role in providing solutions to complex healthcare problems."

Mr. Frank's term as Chair began at the Association's 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 and continues through to the 2021 AGM. Mr. Frank follows Jeff Leger, President of Loblaw Companies Limited and Shoppers Drug Mart, who held the position since 2017. Mr. Leger will be assuming the Past Chair position on Neighbourhood Pharmacies' Board of Directors.
