VALCARTIER, QC, May 5, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - From April 25 to May 13, 2016, some 200 soldiers from Headquarters and Signal Squadron (HQ & Sig Sqn) will participate in Exercises MERCURE DÉROUILLEUR and MERCURE ASSURÉ. Residents in the area are invited to meet the military members in training on May 7 and 8. Visitors will see a variety of vehicles, equipment and personal weapons.

What:

Headquarters and Signal Squadron troops will be exhibiting their communications equipment, weapons and vehicles

 

The goal of these exercises is to maintain constant communication between two groups of 40 signallers. They must therefore maintain radio communication at all times with the main Command Post in Valcartier, while moving from one location to another.
