MONTREAL, July 14, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - National Bank Investments Inc. ("NBI") announced today the change of portfolio manager for the NBI SmartBeta Canadian Equity Fund and the NBI SmartBeta Global Equity Fund.
On or about August 1st, 2017, National Bank Trust Inc. ("NBT") will become the portfolio manager to the NBI SmartBeta Canadian Equity Fund and the NBI SmartBeta Global Equity Fund.
NBT will retain Rothschild Asset Management Inc. as sub-advisor to these funds. The investment objective and strategy of each fund remain unchanged.
This change is in line with the governance process of NBI's open architecture structure.
These changes will be reflected in the upcoming amendment to the simplified prospectus for the NBI Funds, which will be available at www.sedar.com and www.nbc.ca.
