TORONTO, Jan. 26 /CNW/ - Scandalous outfits, jaw-dropping speeches and everything in between...the year's best in music to be honoured at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY(R) Awards.
Broadcast live on Sunday, January 31 - 8pm ET/PT on Global, the prestigious award ceremony boasts 2009's most celebrated recording artists as they vie for a spot in GRAMMY(R) history. Fueled by spectacular performances from Bon Jovi, Beyoncé, The Black Eyed Peas, Green Day, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Pink, Dave Matthews Band, Zac Brown, Lady Antebellum and Maxwell, the night promises to be filled with memorable moments and unexpected musical pairings.
"The GRAMMY(R) Awards are guaranteed to deliver the coolest A-list talent and show-stopping performances, but I think this year's Michael Jackson tribute is going to truly knock everyone's socks off," said Barbara Williams, EVP of Content, Canwest Broadcasting. "Whether it's the ultra-glamorous ET Canada red carpet pre-show or the always-outstanding Awards themselves, music fans need only tune into Global for all things GRAMMY(R)."
