PICKERING, ON, Oct. 29 /CNW/ - The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada and MTV joined forces earlier this year to grant Victoria Watson's heartfelt music wish of having a once-in-a-lifetime music experience. The result will air in a two-part MTV News special hosted and produced by Aliya-Jasmine Sovani on MTV Monday November 2 and Tuesday November 3 at 6:30pm ET/PT.
Victoria's 3-day wish adventure with MTV included a complete celebrity makeover with some of Toronto's hottest stylists, an opportunity to participate in production meetings and brainstorming sessions with top music journalists, the chance to produce her own MTV News segment, and a surprise visit from one her favourite music celebrities.
Victoria stated in her MTV blog "These three days have been the most magical and surreal time of my life. I will cherish every moment. This experience has allowed me to grow and has shaped my perspective about life, and my dreams of having a future in the music industry."
"Victoria Watson is a beautiful, energetic, and strong girl. While most of us were going to high school dances and crying over not having a date to most of them... Victoria was fighting cancer," commented Aliya-Jasmine Sovani, Host, MTV News "She was a great addition to the MTV News team."

The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada
Each year, thousands of Canadian children between the ages of 3 and 17 are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada is dedicated to granting an exceptional wish to every child.
This year, the Foundation expects to grant 1,000 wishes as it commemorates 25 years of granting wishes. The Foundation has never refused a wish to an eligible child granting nearly three wishes everyday - each being an individual adventure, carefully structured to meet the needs of that particular child. Each wish is as unique as the child who makes it. A wish can range from a personal computer or a home theatre system, to travel or a meeting with a celebrity.
