Mogo makes financial fitness sexy, sponsors Maxim All-Star party

Friends with benefits: Fresh off a groundbreaking partnership with Postmedia, Mogo brings unique brand of financial fitness to the 2016 Maxim All-Star party.

VANCOUVER, Feb. 2, 2016 /CNW/ - Mogo Finance Technology Inc. ("Mogo") (TSX: GO) announced today that it has gone where no fintech brand has gone before by becoming an event sponsor for the 2016 Maxim All-Star party on February 12, 2016 at Muzik in Toronto. The party will be hosted and DJed by The Big Aristotle aka Shaquille O'Neal, with a special performance by Snoop Dogg.

This comes on the heels of the announcement of its revolutionary partnership with Postmedia, which gives Mogo at least $50 million in media value (through its 200+ media properties) over three years—and access to exciting events such as this one—in exchange for revenue sharing and equity participation.

To bring its brand of financial fitness to life, Mogo is creating a fun activation along with cash prizes at the Maxim All-Star party—and its Financial Fitness Coach, Chantel Chapman, will be interviewing celebrities and athletes on the red carpet about their financial tips/life advice for cash-strapped millennials.

There will also be a Mogo VIP lounge and a Meet-and-Greet with Shaq or Snoop Dogg for two lucky winners of Mogo's social media contest. Winners will be chosen for creating the most creative/hilarious/attention-grabbing Tweets or Instagram posts that share why they should be VIPs at the Maxim All-Star party.
