MFDA sets dates for Nathan Disenhouse Hearing on the Merits

TORONTO, Feb. 8 /CNW/ - The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada ("MFDA") commenced disciplinary proceedings in respect of Nathan Hersh Disenhouse by Notice of Hearing dated December 17, 2009.

An appearance in this matter took place today by teleconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA's Central Regional Council.

The Hearing Panel reserved June 18, 21-22 and 24, 2010 for the hearing of this matter on its merits. The hearing will commence at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the hearing can be held, in the Hearing Room at the offices of the MFDA located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The hearing will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.

The MFDA is the self-regulatory organization for Canadian mutual fund dealers, regulating the operations, standards of practice and business conduct of its 141 Members and their approximately 75,000 Approved Persons with a mandate to protect investors and the public interest.
