TORONTO, Nov. 11, 2016 /CNW/ - A Hearing Panel of the Pacific Regional Council of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada ("MFDA") has issued its Reasons for Decision ("Reasons for Decision") in connection with a disciplinary hearing held in Vancouver, British Columbia on July 26, 2016 in the matter of Jeffrey D. Mushaluk (the "Respondent"). In its Reasons for Decision dated November 10, 2016, the Hearing Panel confirmed the following sanctions imposed on the Respondent:
- a three (3) year prohibition from conducting securities related business in any capacity while in the employ of, or associated with any Member of the MFDA, effective from August 1, 2014 to July 31, 2017;
- a fine in the amount of $25,000, payable on or before July 31, 2017; and
- costs in the amount of $5,000, payable by August 31, 2016.
