Media Statement - Ontario Association of Children's Rehabilitation Services Board Chair Louise Paul
TORONTO, May 3, 2013 /CNW/ - "We are pleased to see the government's investment in Children's Rehabilitation Services in the 2013 Budget. The government's commitment to provide targeted investments in children's treatment centres, support a pilot program to help children across the province transition into school and to expand the family-centred Children's Rehabilitation Information System to five children's treatment centres in northern Ontario is welcome news for families across the province.
These investments will make a difference in the lives of kids who require specialized services and their families.
This Budget demonstrates the government's commitment to helping all kids - especially those who require extra support - reach their full potential.
We look forward to working with the government to implement these investments and continuing to enhance the critical services for children and families that children's treatment centres provide."
